Classic Walking Tour
The tour provides a perfect introduction to the city. It explores the main highlights and stories – from Warsaw`s very beginning in the Middle Ages, through the centuries when it was the capital city of the largest country in Europe, total destruction, soviet occupation and communism, to contemporary changes.
We`ll go through Warsaw`s oldest and most beautiful district. But I couldn`t resist to show you at least briefly the new Warsaw. History is fundamental, but I believe what makes Warsaw so attractive today is the recent transformation of the city. I like telling my clients about my experience – how I came to Warsaw years ago, why I didn`t like it first and how my affection was growing.
My tours are always like that – very personal. And some fun, too. How about trying the best Polish donuts? If you like pastries, I will take you to my place. Actually, I`m writing this text a few days before the Donut Day, which is probably my favorite day in a year. I can tell you all about it on the way 😉
I will show you my favorite works of art, take you through the solar system in 20 seconds, explain the Polish soul while listening to Chopin`s music or… tell how to smuggle a heart through border control and not get arrested!
I look forward to seeing you on the walk!
